10th Issue Of The Pursuit

Welcome to our latest issue of the magazine, which is dedicated to female influencers. In this issue, we explore the impact of female influencers on social media and beyond.

As we explore the theme of female influencers, we are reminded of the power of beauty in all its forms. Beauty is not just about what is pleasant or pretty, but also about what is culturally important and relevant to our audience.

We hope that this issue inspires you to think about the role of female influencers/entrepreneurs in our society and how they are shaping our perceptions of beauty, culture, and identity. We also hope that it encourages you to celebrate the diversity and creativity of female influencers, and to recognize the important contributions they make right here in the Caribbean.

9th Issue Of The Pursuit

Influencer marketing has become a popular way for many Caribbean brands to expand their reach on social media.

According to Hootsuite, working with experienced social media influencers who share your brand values is key to pulling off a great influencer marketing campaign.

Male influencers in the Caribbean tend to have a loyal following that fits a certain demographic. For instance, you find them supporting tech, automotive and entertainment brands. Companies can use them to target a specific audience and industry and increase the effectiveness of their marketing campaigns.

The monetary value of an influencer is typically calculated by the size of their social following as well as the platform they are using.

This is a special two part issue. In this edition we drop 5 Caribbean male influencers you should know….but look out for an amended version in July that showcases even more intriguing talent.

Hope you enjoy this issue of The PURSUIT.

7th Issue Of The Pursuit

THE PURSUIT is in it’s second year, a new phase of growth. I wasn’t sure that I would be continuing the magazine as it does take quite a bit of time and resources to put together. But my team encouraged me and with the help of some amazing contributing writers we are here to bring more content to you. In this issue of THE PURSUIT we address many of the trends of 2023 and how this will impact entrepreneurs and businesses of all sizes. At the top of everyone’s list is AI and Chat GPT and the use of influencers in marketing. So here’s to an amazing new year to everyone and happy reading.

6th Issue Of The Pursuit

Building my personal brand was the single best investment I made for my career in the last five years. Prior to this, I considered myself a life long learner (still do). My academic qualifications and achievements allowed me to move from job to job, acquire increases in salaries and opened opportunities for me despite the many challenges I faced as a black female working in male dominated industries.

In this issue of The PURSUIT we draw on a number of subject matter experts in the field of Personal Branding. We share stories and tips from a CEO, Branding Consultant, photographer, make up artist and many more.

I do hope you enjoy the articles shared here and that it inspires you to at least start thinking about what a personal brand can do for you.

5th Issue Of The Pursuit

We are all influenced by gender.

Gender norms (or rules) tell us what is appropriate for girls and for boys, women and men to do in our society.

As a corporate manager early in my career I faced some gender biases. Some I think I was oblivious to because I was young and thought the difficulties I faced were par for the course. In this issue of THE PURSUIT, we feature a number of powerful professional and entrepreneurial women all across the Caribbean.

I do hope you enjoy the stories of these amazing and fearless women.

4th Issue Of The Pursuit

In every publication I produce, I look for a unique, clear focus…something that is impactful for the readers and for the entrepreneurial community.

In this issue of The PURSUIT, I’ve been fortunate in that the theme stated “Caribbean Sales Leadership” was something I wanted to embark upon since July 2021 when I first started discussions about the magazine with my team.

Sales is the bedrock of business.

There are no customers, no revenue, no profit, no business without sales.

I see in 2022 that customers are more demanding than ever as they’re faced with continued uncertainty and held accountable for immediate ROI on the products and services they choose.

This makes sales professionals more important and sales even more difficult.

As a result, I am excited to share the perspective of several Caribbean sales leaders who are entrepreneurs and professionals leading teams.

Their insights and advice in this issue are modern, relevant and applicable to any industry, any field.

So I welcome you all to dive into our 4th publication of THE PURSUIT.

3rd Issue Of The Pursuit

The stories are riveting, full of inspiration and educational and will no doubt give you that good feeling inside.

I do hope you enjoy our third issue of The PURSUIT. The PURSUIT is another chapter in my journey as an entrepreneur, as I continue to share the stories and advice from the many entrepreneurs making a difference along the way.

Cheers!
